David holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania as well as undergraduate degrees in philosophy, literature, and ancient Greek. The founding editor of a scholarly journal and a book series, he has published over 200 research articles in addition to 20 monographs, edited volumes, and special journal issues. While holding academic positions in the U.S. (Duke University & Ohio State University) and the U.K. (Durham University), he has taught writing at all levels, from ESL composition courses and advanced undergraduate seminars to doctoral dissertations and faculty workshops. In his editing work, he draws on his academic training and a strong track record of cross-disciplinary research and publication to enhance his clients' capacity for communication, self-presentation, and audience engagement, in any medium or context.
