Dear Candace, Thank you for the trouble you have taken with these parts of my proposed book. I am glad you like it and appreciate your encouragement. You explain what I need to know very clearly. I understand what you say and see that these points will improve the book immensely. I am about to start going through my work making the alterations you suggest. Some of what you say will not be easy and I hope you will help me when I get stuck. I foresee problems trying to put everything in sequence because much of it overlapped, such as the way we heated the house, the way we dealt with food and the way we coped with clothing. These were continuous. not specific incidents. However, I will check with you when the time comes. Second - spelling. I am English and my spelling is English. I don't think I could cope with US spelling. Can I spell in my familiar way? Lastly for the moment. Should I send you each chapter at a time as it is done, or wait for more to be ready? Also, how do I pay you for your subsequent work? Thanks again, Shirley
